Halo Wars 2 is set to release on 2/21/17 at 12:01AM EST, but purchasers of the Ultimate Edition will have early access and can begin playing on 2/17/17. To download the game, you will need Xbox Live and broadband internet, and you may also incur ISP fees.

The Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition includes early access to the full game four days before the standard release date, a digital code for the Halo Wars 2 Season Pass, and a digital code for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition. With this edition, you can build and lead powerful armies of vehicles and troops in epic battles, and play with or against friends and the Xbox Live community in various multiplayer modes supporting up to 6 players.

If you're looking for a new way to play, Blitz mode offers instant combat and command. It combines tactical combat with card-based strategy, allowing your deck to become your army as you collect powerful Halo vehicles and troops and command them in fast-action matches.
